Affirmative counselling and psychotherapy in Shoreditch and North London
Life can be overwhelming and sometimes we just need a little help to make sense of things.
Many of us struggle with the complexity and pressures of everyday life - sometimes it’s hard to navigate the seemingly small stuff, without being able to understand why. Some of us have experienced significant life events that may be impacting us even years later. Some of us simply don’t have the words for how we feel, which can be a really isolating experience.
Whatever your situation, counselling can give you an opportunity to explore what may be causing you to not quite feel yourself, and support you in navigating things differently.
Counselling for couples and individuals
I work with individuals and people in relationships - be that couples or those in multiple partnered relationships, as well as family relationships, friends or colleagues.
I have experience of working with a range of presenting issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, low mood, bereavement, trauma, illness, low self-esteem, relationship or family issues, gender identity, sexuality, sexual abuse, loneliness, work-related stress, grief and feeling stuck.
I aim to provide culturally sensitive and affirmative therapy with all clients, regardless of how they experience and present to the world - you don’t have to be anyone but yourself. My practice is inclusive of all GSRD identities and I work with clients of all ages, backgrounds and experiences.
If you have ADHD or any other neurodivergence, or have a disability and require adaptations to be made, I would encourage you to let me know so that I can consider how to best meet your needs.
I also offer single-session counselling and a Wellbeing MOT, for individuals looking for a one-off solution, but without the time or resources to commit to regular therapy.
Online and face to face counselling
I work online (Zoom) with people all over the UK and Europe. I also provide in-person sessions at Aashna in North London and Therapy Space East in Shoreditch.
I can help you begin your therapy journey
Every person is unique, so I take an individual approach with each client. I am respectful and compassionate in my approach and I’m committed to helping you understand your experiences, heal from past trauma and live your life in the most meaningful way possible.
