Workplace mental health

Workplace mental health is something I care deeply about.

Having worked in corporate organisations as an employee, manager and leader, I have experienced a range of approaches to workplace wellbeing and seen first-hand what can make a meaningful difference - and what can sometimes get in the way.

Organisations may have Employee Assistance Programmes, Mental Health First Aiders and wellbeing initiatives in place, but these are most effective when they sit alongside a healthy workplace culture.

The way people communicate, manage pressure, lead teams and respond to difficulties can have a significant impact on how people experience work.

My counselling work has also given me an insight into the impact that workplace stress, burnout and difficult working environments can have on people's lives. I believe that supporting workplace mental health is not simply about responding when someone is struggling, but about creating environments where people are better supported in the first place.

I work with HR teams, organisations and managers to understand the mental health challenges within their workplace and develop practical, tailored support that can make a meaningful difference.
